A day i will never forget.
The first hit strikes at 2.46pm, another 4 minutes to the 2nd break of the day and i was already slacking and planning to read a chapter of Nurarihyon no Mago and we starts to feel the tremors. I looked at the uncle sitting diagonally opposite me acknowledging that it's an earthquake. It's normal to feel tremors every now and then so we didn't think it's anything serious. However, it's different this time round. The tremors got stronger and i was told to hide under the table and before i knew it drawers start to open on their own and documents behind me starts to topple.
When i was taking shelter under the table my thoughts were "Shit man. This is serious. When is the shake going to stop? Will the building give way? Don't tell me i'm going to die in an earthquake! What the probability of a Singaporean dying in an earthquake? (In case you don't know, Singapore is natural disaster free. Tiny but safe.) F**K and the fact is my 3 yrs stint actually ended and i'm back alone this time to complete this particular project! Don't tell me i'm this down on luck!"
Before we can check online to find out what happened we were told to move downstairs. So i grabbed my bag and jacket and moved down as quickly as possible. We were told to wait for 15mins. However, i think 15mins wasn't up yet and we were told to move back to office again. I can only say the Japanese are really brave. I was one of the last few unwilling ones to walk up and before i can even sit down 2 second shake come again. It seems to be more serious then the first one. I looked at the uncle opposite me and he's shocked too and said the shake seems to be vertical (which is bad as buildings are build to withstand horizontal shakes and not so much for vertical shakes.) and he signal me to hide under my table again.
And my thoughts this time "F**k! I shouldn't have came up." and i realized that my boss (whose sitting beside me) and all the uncles around me are not actually hiding under the table. Only me. I totally freaked out and they keep telling me not to worry but how can that be possible?!? As soon as the shake is not so strong, we were told to move down again. This time round i grabbed all my stuff with me and rushed down like one of the fastest. lol.
Well, i can only say that the uncles are really very calm. When we were outside my boss said: "Lucky it's not raining." Then the uncle whose sitting opposite me said: "Yah. Lucky it's not snowing too." This time round we waited much longer downstairs and we were told that we can either cont. to stay in office or go home. Of course they don't expect us to work already. It's because the trains are all suspended. So i went upstairs to save my work and shut down my pc. Yes! i went up again! I don't know why i did but i will be alone if i go back hotel. So i guess it's better to stay with the uncles for awhile longer. Great workout for the 30mins. Climbed 5 stories 3 times! So i hang around for awhile and as soon i felt another tremor, i told my boss and the uncles that i'm leaving first. lol. They all stayed pretty far away so there's no way for them to go home and most of my colleagues walked home. Some even took 4 hours to walk home. tsk tsk tsk. I'm considered one of the luckier ones as the hotel im staying is only 20mins walk away. I can't imagine if i were to stay in ushihama... (previous apartment).

everyone turned to buses. Rare to see such long queues at bustops.
People are looking at the news.
People looking at the big tv outside the shopping mall.
There's nothing much that can be done other than standing around, waiting and hoping to get home soon.
I reached my hotel and the staff assured me that the hotel building is safe because i request to change to a lower floor if its possible as i stay at the 8th floor!!! However, it's not possible as the hotel is fully booked. Seriously i was very scared all alone in my hotel room at the 8th floor as i can't stop feeling the tremors and the building shaking. So i went down to the lobby to sit... just not wanting to be alone and watch the news with everyone else. Went back to my room again after an hour plus.
Sat in front of my PC replied concerns from friends. Thank you for asking =)
Head out to grab food and had a quick shower.
managed to grab milk, bread, biscuit and cold pasta. Kept the biscuit in my bag with a bottle of water just in case anything happens i'm all ready to grab and run.
I can't sleep on Friday night. Endless tremors after the hit even until now when i'm typing this entry. Kept the TV on as i lied on my bed. Dozed off once in awhile but still tried to be listen to the news when ever there a tremor alert. A long night.

Head out to grab food again.
Got mac for lunch.
Trains are functioning finally.
Though not fully.
Malls are still closed though.
Now im not sure if it's the tremors im feeling or i'm just feeling dizzy at times. I will only be back on the 8th Apr. I hope there will not be a second hit. *keeping my fingers crossed*

Manga Summaries - March
BetsuComi (ベツコミ) and Betsuma (ベツマ) will be out tomorrow - 12th Mar (Sat) instead of 13th Mar (Sun). *Yeah*
Bokura Ga Ita (僕等がいた) will be the cover for the April issue of BetsuComi (ベツコミ) which will comes with a Bokura Ga Ita (僕等がいた) clear file! (As shown above, front and back view.)
Seriously, I can't wait to read Bokura Ga Ita (僕等がいた) - Chapter 64. I hope something good will happen between Nanami (七美) and Yano (矢野). They need something good in their lives, especially poor Yano (矢野).
However, i think nothing much is going to happen again after reading this:
ついに矢野が七美の元へ。。。なのに、大事件が！？
It translate to say that even though Yano is with Nana but something major/serious is going to happen.
I sure we all know that it's the passing of Yuri's mother. Argh... and Yano will not be able to leave Yuri alone again or something. I hope Nana will be weaker now that she told Yano it is him who made her strong and that she needs him too... or maybe even more than Yuri.

I went online to read Chapter 1 after reading Emily's description, knowing that it will be something very shoujo-ish and nothing smutty since it's searlized in Nakayoshi. I mean, honestly as much as i like the way she does her cover with scratchy strokes and top it off with faint colours, water colour? (Like the ending theme of Kimi Ni Todoke Season 2, i totally heart that!) but the image does look a little smutty doesn't it? With a man placing his finger on a middle school girl? And the title too! Sounds smutty. lol. Sensei ni, Ageru translate to Giving it to Teacher. Give what? Love? First time? Lol. it makes my imagination go wild! hahah.
Teacher X Student relationship is not exactly my kinda of Manga. (Kinkyori Renai, is the only other manga i'm reading with Teacher X Student Genre) Moreover, it's with a middle school girl instead of a high school girl. 14 years old is way too young! No matter how mature she tries to dress herself up, i think it's impossible to mistake her as a loung lady?!?! So such incidents can only come true in manga.
Last weekend, I was pacing up and down Kinokuniya - Shinjuku thinking if i should at it. I bought it in the end, both Vol. 1 and 2. =P Finished with Vol. 1 and flipped through Vol. 2. Just as i've expected it to be. Typical Shoujo and i like it. Give it a try if you are craving for something really Shoujo-ish.

It's March....
Such cold day makes me wanna go home to the land of heat.
.... and it just snowed like a few minutes ago. BEST! it's March already lor. I need spring to come. I want to see Sakura more than snow!

Ritsuki: "Isn't this great! We will decided with this."
Reo: " I object!"
Reo: "I was wondering what you are doing as you are running so late and i'm waiting outside in the cold. Let's go home, Aiko."
Reo: "No. Isn't it too exposed? However, it's about work so it's not up to me to comment. Aiko! are you done changing? Jya... we will leave first."
Aiko: "Hiroko, see you tomorrow."
Hiroko: "Be careful on the way."
Ritsuki: "Text me if you will be going to the hotel. I will be your alibi."
Aiko: "Ritsuki!"
Aiko: "I'm fine as we are holding hands."
Reo: "Ic."
Aiko: "Reo, you've cut your hair recently? You look so cool!"
Reo: "Oh.. you've noticed."
Aiko: "That's for sure. I see you everyday, i'm sure to notice it."
Reo: "Ic. Thank You."
Aiko: "Isn't it good? To have short hair... shall i cut too?"
Reo: "No!"
Aiko: "Eh? i can't? Don't tell me Reo prefers long hair?"
Reo: "Erm.. yup."
Aiko: "Um... maybe i should let my hair grow."
Reo, holding Aiko's face with his hands: "You seems to have said some cute stuff..."
Aiko, blushing and thinks "No! Is he going to kiss me?"
Ako: "Huh? Orh!" and thinks "Why? He didn't kiss me. Since that trip, he did not try to do ero stuff to me, even if it's a kiss, it's only a light peck not like the one during the trip. Is Reo being Reo and being considerate about my feeling?...
Reo: "Aiko, are you really going to help out with the event at Spica on X'mas?"
Aiko: "Um."
Reo: "That's right. It's impossible to date."
Aiko: "I'm sorry. It's a maid's cafe, that's why X'mas it's an important event and we need to help out. Ritsuki said it's going to be crowded as it's going to be a costume party."
Reo: "Ic. Seriously? I will spending this X'mas alone."
Aiko: "How about your family?"
Reo: "My parents go on trips every year on X'mas. When i'm still a kid, they will bring me along but since junior high...." Reo stops suddenly and thinks "Oh no!"
Aiko: "Since junior high?"
Reo: "Nope.. it's nothing."
Aiko: "Arh... you've been spending it with girls?"
Aiko: "Maybe i should go?"
Reo: "Huh?"
Aiko: "After the event ends... can i go to Reo's house?"
Reo: "Are you inviting me? I will not be able to endure the second time."
Aiko's thoughts "Inviting? Oh no! It's like that? But..." and said: "It will be alright for the second time... maybe.."
Aiko: "Um."
Reo: "It's a promise."
After sending Aiko home, Reo calls Ritsuki.
Reo: "Ritsuki-san? It's Reo."
Ritsuki: "What? You both are going to the hotel?"
Reo: "Nope. I've already sent her home. It's not about that. I've something to discuss with Ritsuki-san."
Hiroko: "It's because all clubs activities are suspended due to the mid term exam."
Aiko notices Reo's fan screaming loud for him.
Aiko: "Don't need your unnecessary concern." making a 'bleah" face.
Takumi: "Kasumi-san, warm up is starting."
Aiko: "Orh."
Takumi turns around and made a 'bleah' face at Reo. Reo's thoughts "Irritating!"
Aiko: "Club activities is fun!"
Hiroko: "Um!"
Aiko: "We should start a game soon."
Hiroko: "We can't. We need to follow the menu (training plan i guess)."
Hiroko: "Even though so, we can't."
Aiko: "That's boring." She see Reo and thinks "Ah? surrounded by girls again? Since he cut his hair, his fan increased again." Aiko accidentally steps on to a cone and losses her balance. Takumi drops his stuff and rushes to Aiko.
Hiroko: "Kyahhaha! Ai! Takumi! are you alright?" and we see Aiko landed on Takumi's arm.
Takumi: "Ouch..." Takumi looks like he's in great pain.
Aiko: "Takumi! Are you alright? Oi! Call Koikei and the ambulance!"
Aiko looks really guilty seeing Takumi with his arms bandaged.
Takumi: "I'm sorry to have caused you to worry. I'm alright already. Please carry on with the training."
Aiko's thoughts "It's totally not alright!"
(Just in case you might be wondering, the guys standing beside Ikumi is the coach.)
Takumi: "Kasumi-san, please do not worry. I will recover in 3 weeks time. It seems long but there is nothing serious."
Aiko: "But... I'm really sorry."
Team-mates: "Ma... Isn't it lucky for Takumi to be able to protect the girl he likes?"
Takumi: "Don't say that."
Reo's thoughts "Why is the conversation moving towards that direction?"
Takumi: "It's something i do it willingly myself. Please don't blame yourself. I'm glad that you are not hurt."
Team-mate: "Woah... well said. You Ero guy."
Takumi: "Can you just let it go?"
Aiko's thoughts "Argh.. he's being too gentle!"
Another team-mate: "However, it's going to be inconvenient right? You can't do anything with your arm hurt."
Takumi: "I guess."
Aiko: "I will take care of you until you recover. Let the responsibility to me."
Reo: "Huh?"
Team-mate: "Oi... Isn't this great. She's going to take care of you. The birth of a couple." while another team-mate pushes Aiko towards Takumi.
Takumi: "Jya... I will accept your offer."
Aiko: "Um..." and her thoughts "There seems to be a murderous feeling behind me. Reo is really angry now."

I was planing to do this chapter last weekend but procrastination got the better of it. lol as i was re-watching Boukra Ga Ita's anime and re-read it's manga. =P Anyway, it's a really short chapter... maybe a build up for the next arc? I'll like to see how jealous Reo can get in the next chapter. lol.

僕等がいた - Chapter 63 Teaser
I've read the teaser Shmook put up on Bebexiu but there wasn't any pictures so i've been wanting to share some of the pictures that will make you go 'KYAHAHAH~' here. haha I know Shmook is in the mist of getting the scanlation out thus, i'm only doing teasers and not summary.
Read on if you want spoilers and can't wait to catch a glimpse at this chapter. After reading this chapter, i re-watched the anime which i watched some years back. Awww... Yano and Nana! Gambatte!
Nana opens her door and is shocked to see Yano.
七美：“。。。ど、どしたの？こんな時間に。と、とりあえず、寒いから入って。。。”
Nana: "What happened? At this hour? Come in for now as it's cold outside."
七美：“矢野。矢野にとって幸せって何？”
Nana: "To Yano, what is happiness?"
矢野：“。。。雪みたいなの。”
Yano: "It's like snow."
Yano's phone rings.
矢野：“行かなきゃ。”
Yano: "I have to go."
七美：“。。。。。。うん。”
Nana: "......Um."
本当にはね、後悔したよ。
矢野を送り出す決意をした後、たくさん、たくさん。。。
けどね、後悔することを後悔しないって決めたから。
だって何が最善なんてわからない。
The truth is,, i regretted badly about my decision to send Yano away. However, i decided not to regret but i don't know what is best.
今だってわからない。
Even now, i still don't know.
矢野：“本当は引き留められても良かった、５年前のあの時。”
Yano: "It would have been great if you've held me back 5years ago."
矢野：“おまえどうしていつもそんなにききわけいんだよっ。どうしてそんな強いんだよっ。
Yano: "Why are you always so reasonable? Why are you always so strong?"
七美：“。。。くない”
Nana: "... not."
矢野：“。。。何？聞こえない。”
Yano: "What? I can't hear you."
七美：“。。。あたし最初からこんなに強くない。。。”
Nana: "... I wasn't this strong initially."
矢野：“はあ？”
Yano: "Huh?"
七美：“強くなってたのは。。。。。からだよ。矢野にだ会ったからだよ”
Nana: "I became strong .... because.... because i met Yano."
*omg~ finally a hug in the snow!*
矢野があたしを強くしたんだよ。
It's Yano who made me strong.

My heart is feeling squishy now. I hope for the best for this pair. They've suffered enough, for two who truly love each other. What does it has to be so hard for them?
