Just a random share on how my tiny apartment changed over 3 years.
The first month. Still pretty empty.
My final month.
The last week.
The last 2 days.
I'm finally home. Argh... i miss the manga in Japan.

Glad you made it home safe and sound! Do you have time to take a break and rest a little after your trip? "Take it easy" as we say here in the States!

Is that where you stayed in Japan? I hope it doesn't sound insulting when I say this, but oh my gosh, it's tiny! I would feel so claustrophobic in there. But if that's Japan, then I guess it's normal huh? Your room is very neat though, you kept it simple and clean! Where's the bathroom by the way?
Welcome home! Join the club, I buy the translated version of the tankobon cos it is cheaper than the original version. To help nurse the longing for Japan, go out and have a feast. Try Bah Chou Mee, Hei Mee, Cha Kway Teow etc. 新年快乐!

Thanks everyone for leaving me a comment here. hee. Still adjusting back home and work. Was busy over the Chinese New Year period which explains for the lack of post.
And yup, i will be getting my magazines off Kino which i know it will be expensive! hahah. i will see how i can manage... actually i'm thinking of giving up Cheese! but i will see how things progress. *hope i can get a pay increment*keeping my fingers crossed*

@nicole: I've translated Dengki Daisy up till the latest chapter 43. Click on 電撃デイジ(Dengeki Daisy)under Manga Summaries on the side bar. ^^ If you are wondering about the next chapter, i should be out in the next issue of Betsucomi on 13th Feb.
Heroine Shikkaku is in Betsucomi, too, right? I really look forward to your summaries of that!
@mikimata: Heroine Shikkaku is in Betsuma which has the same release date as Betsucomi everymth. haha. i'm looking forward to it too!

So you are also getting books from Kino? Me too! ^_^ Kino is like my number 1 source for Japanese mangas and I also started to subscribe to Betsuma magazines for the next few months from them. But I'm wondering, why are you saying the prices are more expensive? Arn't they the same price as those in Japan? Or are they actually cheaper?

@achika: Betsuma, Betsucomi and Cheese cost between 420yen to 440yen which is about 6.70sgd for the current exchange rate but it's sold at about 12sgd in Kinokuniyas in Singapore. Thus, it's really expensive when i buy them i Spore!
oooo so lucky! your apartment is so cute^^dont mind me asking but how did u manage to settle in japan? was it difficult to get a job?
@Anonymous: Actually i found a job in Singapore which requires me to undergo training in Japan. I went there with a job and accommodation all taken care of by the company so it wasn't that difficult to settle down. They only major problem was the language and culture but it's just a matter of time before i get used to it. You planning to go Japan?
