However, things change after watching メイちゃんの執事 (Mei-chan no Shitsuji) *so charming* i was mesmerized by him as Shibata Rihito (柴田 理人) when he soon announced his marriage with Ayaka (絢香) a singer from the same talent agency in Feb 2009. He married her knowing that she has Basedow's disease and said: "それ（病気）を含めて守ってやりたい." (I want to protect her, with her illness included.) *Meltz*

In September, he left this talent agency. I was shocked when i heard the news!!
Yesterday, 31st Oct 2010, it was announced that Mizushima had won the 5th Popular Publishing Grand Prize 「第５回ポプラ社小説大賞」 for Fiction for his debut work, titled Kagerou, written under the pen name Satoshi Saito (齋藤 智). The cash prize is 2000Kyen and it seems that he had declined the prize money saying to donate to people who needs it!
Omg~ I think he's becoming more and more charming... (despite the fact that he's married).
Now i'm interested in his debut work, titled Kagerou, (even though i think my Japanese is not good enough to read a storybook) which features the theme "Life". It is based on his own experience as a child who returned to Japan after living in Switzerland from kindergarten to elementary sch and about the difficulties he faced during the period when he lived overseas and when he starts to think about life and death since he was a kid.
in 絶対彼氏 (Absolute Boyfriend). I find him a-ok here as the other guy Hayami Mokomichi (速水 もこみち) whom acted as Tenjou Naito (天城 ナイト) is way more cooler.

wow!! I've always liked him since he played as Nanba-sempai in Hana Kimi. Really liked him in Zattai Kareshi, even though I would have to agree with you, Naito was way cooler. I was really caught up on him in Mei-chan.I loved him when he got married to Ayaka (my ultimate favorite singer!) even though she was sick and now he declined the money and gave it to charity??? I AM IN LOVE WITH HIM NOW!! Thank you for the news, I have so lost touch with Japanese gossip due to my very bad Japanese. And a book? My, this guy is definitely an angel :D

I LOVE him as Rihito! He has left acting and is now a writer?! A lost to us who have enjoyed his acting! But writing! I'm now wishing I can read Jap proficiently... What a dear to look beyond sickness and the willingness to have and to hold someone in sickness.
