I've decided to just do a brief summary for this chapter as it has not much contribution or developments to the series as a whole.
This chapter starts with Miu's father asking Miu to visit his grandmother whose staying in the country on his behalf as he needed to be away for work. Miu went together with Keita, Gutsu chan and her boyfriend. Shin chan, son of Miu's cousin, is not pleased seeing Miu together with Keita.
Shin chan came up with a lot of pranks such as passing Keita a dead insect, dig a hole and lure Keita to fall into it, water bombs to
terrorize Keita. Keita, spent his days in the countryside battling Shin chan.
Apparently, Shin chan likes Miu and wants her to be his wife in future because he accidentally entered the bath room when Miu was bathing and he thought he should be responsible for his actions.
Miu told Keita to give in to Shin chan as he's still a kid however Keita told Miu that he will not allow anyone to snatch Miu away, irregardless of his age. They started squabbling and almost ended up with a sweet kiss until Shin chan came to Miu's "rescue".
One night, during dinner, Miu's grandmother was telling them about the legend of the small shrine up in the back mountain top. It was believed that when one picks up a crystal around the shrine and gives it to his/her love one, they will be blessed with happiness forever. Keita and Shin chan disappeared before anyone even realize there are already gone. They ran to the mountain top hoping to find a crystal.
Up in the mountain top, Shin chan found a crystal however parts of the mountain's mud collapsed. Luckily Keita was fast enough pushed Shin chan away but instead Keita's feet were buried under the collapsed mud. Back at home, Miu's uncle came back home and told them to avoid the mountain area as he met with his friend who is in the fire fighting team, told him that there is a possibility that the mountain might collapse due to the rain. And they rush off to the back mountain as Keita and Shin chan are there.
Miu was worried when she saw Keita's feet buried under the collapsed mud. Keita reassures her that he's fine and he comforts Miu. Shin chan stood behind looking at them.
In the end, Keita only suffered a fracture and they went back to Tokyo as planned the net day. Just before they left, Shin chan called out to Keita passing him the crystal he picked and told Keita that he acknowledges Keita and Miu. Keita told Shin chan to keep the crystal for himself and give it his future girlfriend.
Well, this chapter is really nothing much. Next chapter will be out in BetsuComi, November issue tomorrow. I hope there is a new and real arc coming up!

Thanks for the summary amidst your studying for your upcoming Jap test (am I right?). Like I've said, they resolve every obstacle within a chapter or 2 so nothing much to anticipate for. I agree that the manga needs a new arc badly...
Yup! Test will be end of the year. You taking the test too? 165 grammar structures and countless new words to memorise.
Guess the mangaka is too used to doing oneshort series.

Ankemaybe: No. Not yet. I am still learning. I have GREAT difficulty remembering things. I study every other day to recall what I had learnt for the last lesson and yet I can forget. @dollydolly: Not a bother ^^ I will do black bird's summary but not for this chapter in the latest copy of BetsuComi as it's not exactly a chapter, it's only an extra which consist of only 3 pages which has nothing to do with the series development.
I know, it will be another month's wait and i too need my dosage of Kyou!
