1. going to gym and yoga. It has become my weekly routine.
2. studying for JLPT n2. I've just applied to take the exam at the end of the year (1st weekend of Dec) and it's freaking me out with less than 3 months to memorise tons kanji and their hiragana, understand how the grammar works and the dreadful comprehension. I hope i pass, even if it's just ギリギリ because it's freaking expensive to take the exam in Japan!

1. Application form - 500 yen
2. Application fee - 5500yen
3. Postage fee - 240yen
4. Transport to exam venue - est. 1500yen
I hope i will pass.
3. started reading on 2 not very new mangas (online) as they are serialized in Cheese! and Betsucomi i thought i should at least read and catch up till the latest chapter to make my money worth since i'm purchasing Cheese! and Betsucomi on a monthly basis.

Honestly, i wasn't very attracted to these 2 series, both are about fantasy, supernatural powers and their tankubon cover looks depressing. erm.. smutty for Black Bird =P
I've caught up with the latest chapter for Dawn of Arcana in Cheese! (well, it only 20 chapters) and half way through Black Bird, at Vol. 5 Chapter 20. Still a long way to go, got to depend on Chinese and Japanese raws online.
Seriously, i can't decide which to like or which is better. Both the art are decent with clean simple lines. Both are equally cliche with weak shoujo heroine that cry alot, prone to fainting and trying to be strong which put themselves in more danger instead especially Misao is Black Bird. She cries in like every 5 to 10 pages. Well, at the very least both the heroines aren't dumb nor clueless.
However, i do find Black Bird more engaging! Maybe it's due to the countless number of Bishie. Haha even though they look pretty much similar if they are from the same clan. Kyou is HOT! So hot that i think he burnt my eyes! OUCH! hahaha. But he's real form isn't that impressive. Only additional very huge black wings, with a mask which looks like a bird's beak and long hair. Well, can't expect much i guess since it's not shounen manga. I wonder why is the clan called Tengu (天狗, "heavenly dogs") when thier true form is a crow. Goggled and quote from wikipedia "How the tengu was transformed from a dog-meteor into a bird-man is not clear."
Or maybe it's the smutty scenes in every chapter! I think the level of smutty-ness is acceptable up till now (chap. 20) as the story is made in such a way that kissing and embracing is necessary. To think that the mangaka come up with things like drinking Senka's blood or a kiss from Senka and the Youkai can increase his energy level or recover from his injuries which puts Senka in constant danger. Kissing or licking from Youkai can heal one's wounds and during which it's very tough for a Youkai to not eat up tha Senka BUT Kyou can! Which makes everyone in love with him... hahah. ok, at least for me. And about the embrace, to only embrace once?!?! need to read more to know the developments. I think Happy Mari and Kou wa Koi o Hajimemasu is getting more smutty as compared though.
Perharps i prefer Black Bird more than Dawn of Arcana since i have more comments on it. hah.

hahaha... Black Bird hands down. I thought it is more engaging compared to Dawn of Arcana. I can smell a sad ending in Dawn of Arcana (don't ask me why, hmmm... perhaps due to my profession). I definitely love all the bishies in Black Bird. Also, I've given up on KWKH. Nothing on his mind but SEX... The story needs a different arc.
@Ankemaybe: I've stop following the monthly release for KWKH, just wait for it's tankubon. Hope the mangaka will start on a new arc soon. I so HEART Kyou now after reading Black Bird however i can't say the same for Ceaser or Loki. Hahah. Maybe it's the yukata Kyou's wearing. Makes him uber HOT! haha. Shall hurry to catch up till the lastest chapter.
