First attempt to do a summary translation and the Japanese in 電撃デイジー is abit difficult so do correct me if you find any mistake. Okies, i know it's kind of wordy. =P

Chapter 31 - 二人の男

The chapter starts with Kurosaki meeting up with a man in a dark alley. The man told Kurosaki that it was unwise of Kurosaki to call him directly at his office and continued to say that this thing (Jack Frost) is an important item to the company. Kurosaki stopped him and urged him to quickly hand over the item which the man said was Jack Frost. The man then took out a disc and he asked who wanted it as it was not an item for personal use.

Kurosaki gave him a "duh" look and asked why did he asked such question and it's not like he's going to provide any form of service with regards to using Jack Frost. (~hahha, i thought he's funny lo) The man thought that Kurosaki had no idea what Jack Frost is and said originally it's an very expensive item and was made to create conflict between countries. Kurosaki seems uninterested in what the man was saying and ask "so what?" and the man said it should not end up in the hands of a little hooligan and at the same time, there was a man wearing a cap and shades holding a rod and aiming at Kurosaki!!!!! (OMG!!!!) and the scene changes to Teru drink a cuppa coffee and thinking about Kurosaki. She wonders where is he and the virus he created.

Taketa made her the coffee and she thanked him for it saying the it helped to clear her head.

And the God of Shouji Mangaka is about to make a joke about his own manga saying that it does not seems like a shoujio manga as they are going to mention about some codes or virus and it seems like some bad manga. (hohoho)

The scene changed to Kyoshi saying that he was shocked to hear about Kurosaki's father. From now onwards, Andou is going to tell Teru about Kurosaki. After Kurosaki's father passed away, he was taken in by an institution as he does not have any relatives. There were rumous about his father's sudden death, it wasn't sure if it was an accident or he committed suicide and some said his father was a treacherous thing. Kurosaki was all alone and with all the rumors, he made (or is it become?) DAISY. He disappeared from the institute and no one know his whereabouts. When he was found again, he became a threat to some national secrets.

Andou says he's going to stop here as he thinks Teru should have enough knowledge about Kurosaki's past but Teru thinks otherwise. She did not understand about Kurosaki's "sins" were even after hearing about his pass, she only felt that he's a victim and not a villain and would not allows others to think that he is a villain without any good reasons. She felt that if she needs to save Kurosaki, she needs to know more about his past. Taketa also urged Andou to tell Teru more about Kurosaki. Teru suddenly remembered about Midorikawa.

Midorikawa and Teru's brother, Souichiro had some relations and Teru knew about it. Taketa added that Souichiro attended Midorikawa's seminar and was impressed with Souichiro as he was not a research student and yet he wrote a thesis. Taketa added that Souichiro knew Kurosaki's father as well as Kurosaki's father was a seminar student and he thought they got to know each other through the seminar. When Souichiro had to stop school, Kurosaki's father even helped him talked to the profs. Kyoshi asked why Souichiro had to stop school and Teru said with a smiling face that it was for her sake as their parents passed away so Souichiro had to work to bring her up.

Teru questioned about Souichiro's relations with Jack Frost since he was close to Kurosaki's father and Andou says it's national secret thus.... Riko tells Andou not to deceive Teru and she asked Teru to tell her more about Souichiro if it is possible and she plans to tell her about the relation between Souichiro and Kurosaki. To change an environment, she invited Teru for a walk outside and they left leaving Andou, Takeda and Kyoshi in the house and she reminded them not to finish all the food, leave more than half for her and Teru.

Andou added that Souichiro had relations with Jack Frost but he did not want to mention it in front of Teru. In fact Souichiro was the trump card of this project. The development of Jack Frost was by Kenbashidenki, a big IT company in the country. (This page has important information but i'm not too sure if the translation is right. Sorry if it's not.)

Scene changes to Teru and Riko, seems like riko told Teru what Andou just told Kyoshi. Teru felt that she is to blame for what happened to her brother. (I think it's about Souichiro having to stop school and be involved in Jack Frost) Riko told her not to feel that way as Souichiro never regretted his judgment? (or maybe it meant his decisions and choice) as he choose to protect Teru.

From here onwards, Riko is going to tell Teru about how Kurosaki and Souichiro met. Riko said it was like in the movies when the villain hacker was eventually caught by FBI but due to his talent, FBI could not put him behind bars instead they needed to tab on his talent to solve cases and thus, the villain hacker ended up as one of the FBI member and this was what exactly happened to Kurosaki. Everyone in the office was very concerned with such a villain entering the company and wonders how he looked like. They thought he should looked like a villain. (~hohoho)

To their surprise, Kurosaki was a bishounen!!!! (i can't believe it myself either, haha) and Teru questioned how did a bishounen became a hooligan? Riko apologized for their bad upbringing of Kurosaki. Naturally, Kurosaki gathered alot of attention in office and the atmosphere in office was weird, somehow everyone seemed to be praising him as described by Riko. She also thought Kurosaki was very capable but he was very quiet with only very few expressions.

While everyone in office appeared to like Kurosaki, only Souichiro appeared other wise. Souichiro said Kurosaki was getting to much praises and wasn't it natural that one had to finish one's delegated task? Everyone in office thought Souichiro was too strict with Kurosaki, including Riko. She thought Souichiro and Kurosaki would become close friends and felt puzzled why Souichiro kept a distance from Kurosaki. One day when leaving office after work, Kurosaki heard people gossiping about him. They said "hey, isnt't that the baka guy, whose dad was a spy or something?"

Kurosaki seemed worked up but Master was there to held him back. The scene changes to Riko questioning Souichiro regarding his attitude towards Kurosaki. He then asked Riko to keep an eye on Kurosaki tomorrow as he would be in meeting and Master would not be around. Souichiro seemed to know that something was going to happen. The scene changes to the next day in office, Kurosaki went for a smoke break and there were these 2 guys from the office teasing him about "baka", his hair and his dad.

Kurosaki hit them with they ashtray stand. Back in the office, people were talking behind his back saying that he was still a villain after all. Riko tried to show him some concern, however he just replied that he was a goner. On the other hand, Souichiro treated him like how he normally does, delegating him task and he expect Kurosaki to finish it by the next day.

Riko thought that Souichiro was too much as this task actually required two weeks to accomplish. Souichiro went on saying that Korosaki is Takahiro's son so he expected Kurosaki to finish the task by the next day and everyone was shocked and they tried to stop Souichiro from mentioning more about Kurosaki's dad. Kurosaki felt offended and he pulled Souichiro's shirt and Souichiro mentioned about his dad on purpose again. It really pissed Kurosaki off and he gets to work immediately.

Everyone was shocked at how fast Kurosaki worked and of course his true self. He scolded Souichiro baka while working and surprisingly, everyone in the office was cheering for him. Riko too as she passed him a donuts and he ate it. (I think he looks very cute eating the donuts lo, like a little boy) The scene changes to Kurosaki looking half dead while Souichiro looking happy with Kurosaki, who managed to finish his work on time.

Souichiro said "you are really Takahiro's son" and Kurosaki was surprised. Souichiro said Takahiro was someone he respected and he did not believe that Takahiro was a spy. He told Kurosaki that maybe they were the only two people in the world to believe that Takahiro was not a spy and they are right about it. He praised Kurosaki's attempt to find out about his father's death as he wanted to find out too but did not. Kurosaki cried upon hearing that and Souichiro pat Kurosaki on his head.

Souichiro told Kurosaki that he hoped Kurosaki will be able to find happiness. Find things which are important to him and protect the things which are important to him. The scene shows tears on Souichiro's face when he told Kurosaki these words. Souichiro went on to say that he will protect Kurosaki as a brother. Souichiro continued saying " Really, i will protect you, even if i die and even if im dead i will protect you".
