Story:
5人の若い男女がTwitterを通じて知り合い、真の友達、仲間になっていくまでを描く青春群像劇。
This drama revolves around 5 young people who know each other through a popular micro blogging site Twitter.

The story is about 5 young people, 2 woman and 3 men with the female lead 水野月子 also known as 春, her Twitter nick, being an optimistic, strong and innocent girl who like the male lead 中島圭介 also know as なかじ, his Twitter nick who is involved in a married woman and thinks that she is the love of his life until he met 春 and starts to have feelings for her but he does not pursue her right away as he has too much baggage. (dad, job and his married lover)

In the group, 玉山鉄二likes なかじ. (Gay element seems to be the IN thing for dramas) 西村光 also known as Peach, 春's close friend who is a trouble maker and she seems to have feelings forなかじ. ジェジュン also known as Doctor likes 春 even though he knows that she only has eyes for なかじ.

This drama reminds me of Last Friends. Can you accept Last Friends's angst plot? If yes, you will like 素直. Or you are curious about Shibuya, you are recommended to watch as well as alot of scenes were shoot there and the opening theme song's mv include a top eye view of the famous and horrible 5 ways crossing.

The English title is "Hard to say i love you" but actually the Japanese title literally means "can't be honest" as each of the character has got some hidden secret of their own which hinders them to love or be love.
