Got a copy of Cheese! Oct issue today and reading ヒミツのアイちゃん (Himitsu no Ai-chan) on my way home. I read the first page and i know i'm going to love this chapter! I a sucker when the protagonist falls sick. haha.

39.0degs!! Ritsuki: "Even a baka falls sick." Riko in bed feeling angry but unable to rebutt Rituski. Ritsuki goes on babbling: "Today is Reo's important match and you caught a cold. You even got a day off your partime at Spica to go support... and it's because you wore too little and went out on dates after work even thou it's not summer." Mako: "Ritsu, you say too much." Aiko struggling out on bed saying: "I'm... go.. going to... support...." Mako pushed her back in to bed and said: "I said NO! Be quiet today. Love is done in usual times when you are not down with cold and it does not become more terrible. Contact your boyfriend and said that you are sorry."

Mako: "Ritsu, take your car and bring Aiko to the hospital."
Ritsuki: "Now? What about mum and dad?"
Mako: "They are out already. I, too need to go back to work in the afternoon so take care of Aiko later."

Aiko calling Reo and wonders if he will feel disappointed.

Reo's phone rings and his friends teases him: "Mai? So loving and it's only morning." Reo wonders if it's Aiko.

Reo: "Yes. why?"
Aiko: "....Reo.... i'm....."

Reo: "Why? Your voice? You caught a cold? "
Aiko coughing: ".... i'm sorry... i said i'm going to support you..."
Reo looking all worried: "Are you alright?"
Aiko: "I'm fine but Mako onii said no."
Reo: "That's for sure. Don't worry about and don't push yourself k? Once i win the match i will go visit you."
Aiko: "um. I'll wait for you. Reo, do your best!"

After hanging up the phone, Reo wonders if Aiko is alright and recalls that she's been sneezing alot lately. Reo's friends ask when is Mai coming and he replied saying that she's not as she's down with cold. His friends were very disappointed and shouted: "I wanted to meet Mai!!!!" Reo, with cold sweat: "Aren't that suppose to be my line?" One of Reo's friend mentioned that Aiko's down with cold and not coming too.

Hiroko came and said: "Yup, Ritsuki called. It's such and important day and yet she's down with cold." One of Reo's friend: "Aiko down with cold..." and the other in unison: "Even a baka falls sick."

Ikumi and Takumi getting the stores ready over heard that Aiko is sick.
Ikumi tease Takumi: "Why don't you go visit her and "attack" her while shes asleep?" Takumi blushes.

Aiko in bed sneezing, she's still thinking about going to give Reo support when Mako enters and brings her to the hospital. On the other hand, Reo's team was leading head when first half of the match ends.

Takumi pass Reo a towel. Reo a little startled asked: "Why are you here?"
Takumi: "Ikumi can't manage alone, I've been helping since morning. First half was good . I'm envious that you are doing well with your girlfriend like there's no third party involved."
Reo: "Haha... ma.. ne." (Ma ne kind of means so-so)

Takumi: "I thought you will be angry with me instead we are able to have conversation normally."
Reo wonders if Takumi is talking about the sat incident where Takumi, Hiroko and Aiko went to buy materials. (Aiko did not tell him about Takumi's confession.): "Nothing particular. Why should i be angry? That you are working at the same place as Mai?"
Takumi: "You heard about anything during that period?"
Reo: "What is this?"
Takumi: "I'm surprised, you don't seem to trust her."
Reo pounced up angrily and shouted: "What are you talking about?"
Ikumi saw them.

Second half is starting, Reo's team mates shouting for him. Reo threw the towel at Takumi.
Takumi: "Gambatte." Reo is pissed! Ikumi asked Takumi what happend. Takumi just tell her that there's nothing in particular. During the match, Reo keeps thinking about what Takumi means by 'heard about anything during that period'.

Reo recalling Takumi asking if he heard anything during that period and his conversation with Aiko saying that nothing happened. Reo wonders what happend on Saturday and what is Aiko hiding from him. These filled up his thoughts that he looses concentration during the match and allows the opponent to snatch his ball and got a goal.

Meanwhile, Aiko finishes her consultation and is leaving in Ritsuki's car.
Mako: "Lucky it's nothing serious. Fever has gone down after the jab."
Aiko wonder how's the match going now that it's only left with the second half. She calls Hiroko and wonders how is Reo.

Hiroko in the stadium is freaking out when she saw Aiko's call.
Aiko: "Hiroko, It's me. How the match?"
Hiroko: "Has your fever gone down?"
Aiko: "um, I've got a jab and now i'm feeling alright. The match.."
Hiroko: "Oh! That's great! However you can't be careless."
Aiko: "um.. the match..."
Hiroko: "However, Aiko soon..."
Aiko getting pissed: "I've been asking about the match did you hear me? Are you trying to hide something from me?"

Hiroko thinks "Oh no, she's angry. My plan failed." Hiroko: "Reo and team mates were in great form today and we were going to win as Reo scored a lot of points during the first match however, since the second half, it is suddenly destroyed. The opponent is going to catch up soon!"
Aiko shock when she heard that and shouted: "Ritsuki!!! Now! immediately! to the stadium! Hurry up!!"
Mako pulling her back: "Aiko, you are still having fever!"
Aiko: "My fever is fine! Fly now!" and she wonders what Reo is doing. Bakayaro.

Aiko alights and ran towards the stadium. Aiko's thoughts "I will not forgive if you lose." She enters the stadium and saw the score board "It's not catching up!" (Opponent is leading by 2 points) and the time "Less than 1 min." (48 secs.) and she shouted: "What are you doing clumsy Reo! If you all lose, everyone of you will be my servant at my disposal for life!" Everyone turn around and saw Aiko shouting with one leg on the railings.

Reo saw Aiko! Takumi too! Hiroko pulls Aiko back and told her it's dangerous. Reo shouted for his team mate Ken and got hold of the ball. He thought with a grin on his face "Quit joking, who's clumsy Reo." In the last 6 secs, Reo aims for a 3 point shoot and thought "Am i becoming your servant?"

Goal! In the last sec, the ball was counted and Reo's team won by 1 point. Reo turn around to look for Aiko. He smiles whole heartily when he saw Aiko smiling brightly.

They went for a celebration. Reo was caught up with 2 girls while Aiko is seated beside Hiroko. Aiko stood up and said: "I'll make a statement as the girl's basketball representative. Without me, you all might have lost thus you'll have to worship me!" While the guys do not agree of course.

Hiroko is concern about Aiko and asked if she alright and if she wants to go home. Aiko wearing a bright simle on her face says: "I'm not going home. They've won and i'm happy. I want to be here to enjoy the same atmosphere." Hiroko saw the happiness on Aiko's face and let her be. Ken keeps on pestering Hiroko and pulls her out to sing a song. Aiko is actually not feeling well, her fever has gone up. Takumi notices and put his hand on her forehead: "Kasumi san, has your fever gone up? Your've not feeling well right? I think it's better that i send you home."

Aiko pushes his hand away: "I'm alright." Reo is around and she does not want to give him unnecessary worry. Takumi looking worried: "Im worried. Before it worsen, it's better to go home." (omg... he's so worried about Aiko) Aiko looks at him, flustered. Ken saw them and asked with a microphone in his hand: "What are the two of you doing? Something fishy!" Aiko shocked with her mouth open while Reo turn over and look at them. Ken: "Are the two of you dating? Come true with it. What is your relationship? At the 'not yet' stage?" Takumi: "I.." (Is he too honest or what? It seems to me that he's going to confess in front of everyone!)

Reo rushes over and pushes Takumi away. He touches Aiko's face: "She's running a high fever. Hiroko, Aiko didn't bring anything with her?" He carries Aiko in his arms: "I'm leaving, i'm sending her home. Hiroko, you know where's Aiko's house? Show me the way." Reo's friend asked if he's not coming back already. Reo: "I'm sending her home and i'll be meeting Mai." And Reo's friends gossip about the Reo and Aiko after they left.

Takumi biting his lips. (He must be feeling worried about Aiko and angry/jealous of Reo that he's not the one to send her home and look after her.) Hiroko's going to the main road to direct Ritsuki. Reo, carrying Aiko on her back and thinks "Aiko's body temperature is very high." He turns and look at her and thinks "Having a fever at such a high temperature and she still came rushing here because of me... Aiko, get well soon. There's something i wish to hear from you."

omg!!!! Isn't this chapter great! I was reading it in the train on my way home and i can't wait to share it here and I can't wait for the next chapter already!!! I wonder if Reo and Aiko is going to have a fight or Reo actually trust her. However, he's going to be worried, Takumi as his rival is a little threatening yea? even though Reo himself is HOT! I hope there will be some pages where Reo taking care of Aiko and looking worried and wants her not to be sick. muahahah. i love such scenes even though it's cliche!

1 month... how to wait?
