I used to wonder (during sec sch days) if Japan is really how it appears to be in manga, the buildings, traffic lights, trains, streets etc.
Now that i'm here, seeing it for myself. It very true la!
A scene from
カノジョは嘘を愛しすぎてる showing Aki and Riko leaving Tower Records and walking along the streets, opposite OICITY.
The real building of OICITY. Looks the same in the Manga. And yes if you wonder, Tower Record is on the left side of the street, the side where i took this photo from.
Another scene from
カノジョは嘘を愛しすぎてる showing Aki and Riko boarding a cab with OICITY in the background.
The building OICITY.
Another scene from
カノジョは嘘を愛しすぎてる showing Riko's friend watching Riko leaving with Aki in the cab.
The cross junction which kind of links 渋谷 and 原宿。The details are all shown in the Manga. See the Tokyo Star Bank, docomo and alook?
Manga is not all dreamy and imaginary, there is some truth in them!
